We found Eric through Yelp after an exhaustive search for a property management company in Austin. After speaking to a few different companies we decided to go with Eric and his team. From the outset we felt very comfortable with Eric – he was very responsive, knowledgeable and patient with us. Within a few days of contacting him we had a full analysis of our properties, work needed to be done, and listing examples. Once we signed on with him we felt very relieved that we had an experienced and very approachable team on our side. Since then we have purchased additional property through Eric. The buying experience met our expectations. He had properties lined up based on our criteria and helped us make informed decisions. Eric and his team go the extra distance. There was a property on the market and we could not visit it. Eric offered to make a short video tour and sent it to us. BTW we had previously interviewed many other realtors and Eric was hands down one of the best.

Eric helped my wife & I find tenants for our old home. We moved into a new place and weren’t sure if we wanted to buy or sell. We talked to Eric and he gave us good information on what we could expect for a rental price and what we could expect if we were to sell. Even though he would make more money if he sold the house, he didn’t pressure us one way or the other. We decided to keep it as a rental and tried to find tenants on our own through Craigslist, which went nowhere pretty fast. We called Eric and he had his photographer out the next day, the property listed the following day, and a 2 year tenant in the property within a week. I’d say he’s good at what he does. Eric is great because he actually knows what he’s talking about and puts his clients first. Talking to him about real estate is impressive. No matter what area of town or what subject, he can give an intelligent response off the cuff, he doesn’t have to check Google or with a colleague and then get back to you. We’ll definitely use him in the future and would be confident referring any friends or family to him.

I had my real estate license for many years before I let it go because it just wasn’t for me. In that time, I sold plenty of houses, bought plenty of houses, and rented plenty of houses. The barrier to entry for real estate is ridiculously low, so there are LOTS of unprofessional people in the business. I’ve dealt with a lot of them. Eric was my broker when I had my license, so when I gave up my license, it was an easy decision to go to him when I needed help. First of all, Eric isn’t a salesman in the least. He’s an advisor. If he were a salesman, he would have told me to list and sell my properties when I contacted him to see what my options were like others have. However, instead of trying to talk me into doing something that would have netted him around $20,000 in commission, he told me what he would do in my situation, which was to hold onto the properties and continue renting them out. So, he chose to give me solid advice rather than try to earn a $19k higher paycheck. That says a lot about him, and that’s why I trust him. Eric and his team are very organized and have systems for every process. They communicated with my current tenants and negotiated an extension (at a higher rental price) on one property and got another property leased out very quickly, after thoroughly vetting the new tenants and helping me with the move out for the old tenants. I’ve seen Eric in action on property sales, and he’s just as organized and efficient on sale transactions. Eric is the cream of the crop. If you already have someone you like, do yourself a favor and call Eric to see how he compares. If you don’t have someone in the industry that you like, you won’t go wrong just calling him and going with him.

Eric worked with my parents who are from Bolivia and it was their first time buying an investment property in the U.S. He was EXTREMELY helpful as he suggested different options available for them and took them to many parts of Austin so that they could see the different areas (being new to the city this really helped.) Him and Bailey were very professional throughout the process and ensured that all the documents were taken care off and they could go back to Bolivia without any preoccupations. I would definitely be using his services again.

Eric just helped us buy a house in Austin. If I had to describe him in a single word it would be: efficient. Eric was always available and whenever anything came up, he worked closely with us to address it. He was knowledgeable about the different areas in Austin that would meet our needs. His personal experience renovating houses was also helpful when we were looking at “fixer-upers.” Overall we had a great experience even though we were dealing with the demanding Austin market. I would recommend Eric to anyone needing real estate assistance in Austin.

There are A-players. There are players who can put these A-players to shame. Eric falls in the second category. Eric was referred to us by a good friend and it is one of the best referrals I could have gotten. I have worked with other real estate agents before (in Austin) and there is a chasm between him the others I have worked with in terms of the quality of work he does, the detailed follow ups, the no BS feedback on a property, his knowledge on almost every neighborhood in Austin, and more importantly discretion on when to show patience vs when to hustle. When he (and Bailey) was showing us homes, they were patient as we moved from one home to another. Most times we were not excited and at times when we overlooked something, he would make sure we were aware of it (even though this created more work for him). This way, we kept shopping around for “some” time. I learned a lot on what to look for in homes, what things can be overlooked, how much would it cost to fix something, etc. He is like a human version of ‘real estate google’ when it comes to expertise and readiness on sharing his years of knowledge.

When we put the offer finally, he was super determined to make sure that we got the best deal. Another great quality I admired was the richness of his connections from contractors to inspectors. These guys are A-players too, thorough professionals both in terms of work and money. Eric worked to help us understand how much we would be spending on this home to get it in shape based on inspection reports. His common sense helped a lot in our decision making. We obviously had our own lens and perspectives and he challenged few of those without being condescending. This helped us with our blind spots as we worked with our counter offers, leading to a successful purchase.

Where it got really interesting to me was his admirable ability to hustle us and make sure we were not sitting on our butts just because the purchase was done. We planned to lease this property out and the day we signed the contracts, Eric got the property listed as a rental. He had already done extensive research on the neighborhood comps and helped price the house competitively. We got a renter in 2 days with entire background check complete and the entire credit goes to Eric’s team. We still had to get stuff done – repairs, yard, etc. Because he was aggressive in getting this on the market, we hustled and worked with contractors to get the house in prime condition before our renter moved in.

Eric is an amazing person. He is very honest and extremely good at what he does. He also some great ideas on technology and real estate industry. I have already recommended his services to friends and family. There is no better person to go to for help with your home buying/selling.

I moved here with my family 8 years ago from Ireland, I met Eric and bought an investment property through him. Since then I have purchased one more and recently sold a property through Eric also. He is a wealth of knowledge for us, especially since we moved from over seas and were not familiar with the area. I will never use anyone else to buy or sell a house in Austin. His patience showing us around in the heat of Texas can only be admired, he never rushed me and he is so familiar with every area we felt very comfortable with our choices. I would highly recommend Eric.

Eric is the best! He sold me my first house in 2005 and we’ve stayed in touch ever since. Any time I have a question about home repair, home improvements, or anything to do with real estate, I talk with him and he gives me great advice. I took a job in 2012 in Houston and talked with Eric about keeping the house as an investment or selling it and decided to hold onto it as an investment. Eric is great because he gave me honest advice, rather than trying to get me to sell the house since he would get a bigger commission. He helped me rent my house out and we had a tenant in less than a week. I manage the property myself and call Eric when I have questions about how to handle the tenant or anything else. I wanted to sell the house this summer but after some more great advice from Eric we decided to lease it again and to keep it as an investment. He again helped me rent the house out and was able to do it within 3 days and for 2 years! I’m buying a house in Houston and he’s been giving me good advice for that purchase, even though he’s not making any money on the deal. He’s the best realtor I’ve ever met and would and have recommended him to everyone I know.

Eric has represented me as both a buyer & seller. He sold me an investment property in Austin in 2007. He was awesome to work with throughout the transaction, knows a ton about Austin, and just real estate in general. In January 2014, I decided I wanted to sell the property to free up some cash. Since Eric was great to work with on the purchase, there wasn’t any question I’d use him to sell the house. We went over pricing for a bit, looked at the market, etc and then came up with price. Eric spent a week or so getting everything ready and we had it on the market. Long story short, we had a cash offer in less than a week. After the property was under contract, the Seahawks beat the Saints and were headed to Jersey for the Super Bowl (I’m from Seattle and live in Seattle.) Eric was able to get the property to close a week ahead of time, so that I had great seats for the game.

Since I’ve worked with Eric on both a purchase and a sale, I can say with confidence that you won’t find a better agent in Austin. He’s fantastic and you should hire him immediately. He’s also a great guy.
