Relocation

My husband and I were considering relocating from CA to TX. We were referred to Eric by a coworker who had previously worked with him. Eric is extremely knowledgeable, not only about real estate in general but knows the Austin market very well. His insights were very helpful when we went to visit and check out properties for the first time. He was prepared with many properties for us to view in our short trip out there and provided additional details for us around different neighborhoods in particular.

During the offer and closing process, Eric was very responsive and communicated well. He referred us to Max at PrimeLending for our home loan. The two of them are a dream team and work together seamlessly which helped us first time home owners immensely. We are now well educated on the home buying process and feel confident Eric & Max got us the best deal possible on our new home. Eric has followed up with us many times since the close of the house and has referred us to a contractor who we have hired to do some cosmetic upgrades for us.

Overall, Eric helped us throughout the entire process and still continues to. He really did make our first time home purchase an easy, quick and pleasant experience.

I am relatively new to Austin and needed to find a realtor that knows the area fairly well as I was looking for a good investment. I decided to go to Yelp and look for someone knowledgeable there. I cam across Eric Bramlett and gave him a call. I had hesitations at first because he seemed like he might be a busy real estate agent but i called anyway and he answered the phone right away and spent about 30 minutes on the phone with me discussing different areas. In all we probably only went to see 3 houses. Eric happened to be with other clients on 2 off those, but part of that was just the short notice that we gave. Both of those times, his assistant was able to show us the houses promptly. This didn’t bother me thought because he was always very accessible on the phone and through email. We saw a few other houses on our own, but thats because we were just looking all over the place and didn’t want to bother him if we were just feeling places out. A lot of phone calls and email later, we ended up finding a house that we love and its in a great area. I gave him 5 stars because he is extremely knowledgable, understanding, and helpful. Not once did he ask me to sign anything or pressure me into using him as my realtor. Highly recommend!

We found Eric Bramlett via an online realty website listing Austin area realtors. Because we were impressed with the ratings he received from other home buyers, we contacted him and one other larger Austin firm to interview as potential realtors when we decided to relocate to the Austin area. We first met with the large firm and were dismayed at the way we would be passed from employee to employee for each step of the process. We then met with Eric and were impressed at his reassurance that he would be ‘our guy’ throughout the entire process. And he was right. Eric was always quick to respond to all forms of communication and answer all of our questions. We were never pushed off onto other employees in his office, although they were always available if we needed them, and were always made to feel like we were a priority. Eric’s personality, honesty and experience made our relocation to Austin seamless. We truly felt like no one could have served us better. He is knowledgeable, friendly, willing to share his honest opinion, and yet allowed us to come to our own decisions. We could not recommend Eric Bramlett more highly. His assistance made our new home purchase and relocation from Houston to Austin easy and enjoyable. He is hardworking, loves what he does, and goes above and beyond from start to finish. And on a personal note, he’s a great guy.

We moved to Austin from LA and wanted to purchase as soon as possible. After interviewing 4 realtors over the phone, we knew we’d be in good hands with Eric. He asked all the right questions and was realistic with what we could expect with our budget and wishlist. A bonus, Eric also has a ton of experience in remodeling homes and is an investor himself. This was really helpful as we not only wanted to explore home options but investment opportunities as well. Almost a year after house hunting with him and his team, we finally closed on a house last weekend and couldn’t be more thrilled. We saw dozens of homes and took our time, but Eric was always patient and persisted through with us. Eric genuinely wants his clients to maximize the potential of their home. He’s full of ideas for renovations, layout, vendor recommendations and even details such as what light bulbs shine the best! Not to mention, he’s just a really cool guy. House hunting can get draining but it helps when your agent is down to earth and can crack a joke or two :) I would say the 3 most important qualities in your realtor is that they are honest, knowledgeable and engaged. Eric and his team hit the mark on all points and we’ll be using them again for any future purchases/sales.

If anyone is looking to re-locate to Austin or to purchase a home, I’d recommend working with Will Mackintosh at Bramlett Residential. He is professional and very experienced with the Austin market & surrounding areas. I was flying into town from NY for just a few days and communicated with Will via email. I was interested in a few condos and he quickly responded and provided me with a detailed breakdown of rent comps and an investment analysis on all the units I inquired about. This included HOA fees, estimated mgmt fees, insurance, interest rates etc. The data helped me understand the market and also the appreciation values year over year. Receiving this prior to my arrival was great. This shows how prepared Will is as an agent. He works with #’s and that’s the most important thing when considering a purchase. Will was friendly and kept me realistic when it came to what I could find with in my budget parameters. He even put me in contact with a local lender who I connected with to answer my questions in regards to loan approval and interest rates for investment or secondary properties. Having fast and good client service is important when you are making a buying decision. Will was quick, responsive and very helpful for someone looking to re-locate.

Talk about a great experience!! We were looking for a buyer’s agent to help us in our UT Austin campus area condo search (we are from WA so we had one weekend to cram it all in). We checked out several realtors online reviews and decided to go with Eric Bramlett Residential Real Estate. We were connected with WILL MACKINTOSH – who is terrific to work with. He really listened to what our needs/wish list were. He forwarded us listings before we arrived in town so we could set up a “tour of listings”. He knows the area/surrounding areas in depth. He gave us great unbiased input. We ended up purchasing a great Hyde Park condo at a price we were comfortable with. It went super smooth since we had to close the deal long distance. I moved here with my family 8 years ago from Ireland, I met Eric and bought an investment property through him. Since then I have purchased one more and recently sold a property through Eric also. He is a wealth of knowledge for us, especially since we moved from over seas and were not familiar with the area. I will never use anyone else to buy or sell a house in Austin. His patience showing us around in the heat of Texas can only be admired, he never rushed me and he is so familiar with every area we felt very comfortable with our choices. The house we ended up purchasing was pending when we saw the listing – it was Eric’s diligence to follow up on the status of it that lead to us buying a great home in the best location for our family. Some realtors just want a quick buck, then there are others who go above and beyond to satisfy the client regardless of the payout. Eric Bramlett and his team were very knowledgable of the entire Austin area, which was crucial as we relocated from California. Even though we decided to rent for a year to get to know the area, Eric still helped us find a rental home and even helped facilitate our rental agreement. We didn’t even ask for help with the rental search. He offered it and we couldn’t appreciate his help enough! Bases on our experiences with Eric Bramlett, we will use him in the future if we decide to buy a home in the Austin area.

I found Eric when I was relocating from San Francisco to Austin. I knew I wanted to live really central, but I wasn’t sure which neighborhood I would like the most or what I could afford, as it seems like things can vary quite a bit within a few miles. We looked north and south of the river and explored different neighborhoods on our search – Eric was very patient with all my questions about each – and I decided on buying in Travis Heights, which I absolutely love living in, the definite right choice. Unfortunately it was a tight seller’s market (still is Austin), but Eric led the way and helped me get the house I wanted without any issue. I didn’t ever feel pressured and he wasn’t “salesy”, thank goodness… he’s been a great resource to me afterwards too with vendor recommendations.
