When the Davenport Ranch neighborhood began to develop in the early 1980s, residents enjoyed a serene feel along with hilltop views of the Austin skyline.

The vistas and tranquility still remain, but the amenities of the city have moved west. Davenport Ranch, an exclusive neighborhood of hillside houses and lakefront patio homes, boasts an impressive mixture of urban amenities and Hill Country appeal. It's located on the scenic Westlake peninsula, which is west and south of Lake Austin and just east of Capital of Texas Highway, also known as Loop 360.

Most Davenport Ranch residents live in spacious single-family homes that dot the hillsides.
