Homebuyers are always eager to buy homes in Canyon Creek. With all the beauty, convenience, and value that this neighborhood offers, it's no wonder. Canyon Creek is simply gorgeous, bordered by a natural preserve, and boasting many tree-lined streets and plenty of green spaces. In the past decade, the neighborhood has grown from only 350 homes to more than 1200. Along the way, the neighborhood has maintained its charm, friendliness, and excellent safety record.

Situated in Northwest Travis County, directly off RM 620, Canyon Creek is wonderfully located. It also still offers homeowners the possibility of customizing their own homes. Boulder Lane, David Weekley Homes, and Standard Pacific are all builders still developing in the community. Some previously owned homes in good condition are also still available.

Homes here offer plenty of room. A home with four bedrooms and 3500 ft.² of living space is not unusual, and lot sizes tend to be generous as well. Canyon Creek boasts quiet and wide streets as well as a lot of trees. Standard of living here is high, and the nearby Balcones Canyonland Preserve only enhances Canyon Creek. The preserve borders the eastern, southwest side and northeast side of Canyon Creek and affords plenty of recreational opportunities as well as stunning views. Other nearby parks also offer hiking trails, picnic areas, and green spaces that anyone can enjoy.

Proximity to RM 620, Anderson Mill Road and RM 2222 means that commutes are no hassle at all. That's great news, since many of the homeowners here are professionals who work with nearby major employers such as Dell, Motorola, 3M and others. Canyon Creek is in fact a great community for professionals and families. More than half of all homeowners in community are college educated, and many are between the ages of 35 and 50. Professionals and young families are right at home here, which may be why 47% of homes here have children, according to a recent census report.

Not surprisingly, Canyon Creek is a very family-friendly community with a dedication to education. Students here attend well respected schools that are part of the Round Rock Independent School District or the Leander Independent School District. Canyon Creek students attend Canyon Creek Elementary, Grisham Middle School, Canyon Vista Middle School, and Westwood High School.
