Located in the Bee Cave/ Lakeway area, Rocky Creek can be found near Crumley Ranch Road, just before reaching the nearby Belvedere community. While Rocky Creek certainly appeals to those who are interested in rural living, they don’t have to travel far in order to enjoy the conveniences of the city. Austin is located only five to ten minutes away from the Rocky Creek community, while Hill Country Galleria is only about six minutes away. Lakeway, which will soon be home to Lakeway Regional Medical Center, is located only ten minutes away from Rocky Creek.

Purchased by Hillwood Development in 2008, the 468 acre Rocky Creek community will feature homes ranging in price from the high $200,000 to $500,000 range. While the original plans called for more expensive housing, the original developers ran into problems that stalled the development of the community. I have to admit that when I first reached out through Yelp to set up a meeting with Eric I was a little skeptical.
