Right on Lake Travis you will find The Lakeway City Park. This 64-acre green area is perfect for recreation. The park boasts basketball courts, picnic areas, many trees, playground equipment, lake views, hiking trails, and much more. It is home to a number of community events, such as Parks Day, fishing derbies, the Easter egg hunt, Breakfast with Santa, Halloween Parade, and yearly 4th of July celebrations. Lakeway's newest park is The Canyonlands. This 20 acre park features a scenic canyon which affords amazing views. The Canyon reaches from Rough Hollow Cove to the west of the city.
