I felt totally harassed. The bad thing is I had been there other times and other guards let me thru.

I had a similar experience w/ a flashlight rent-a-security guard today, she wouldn’t let me pass thru a security gate, wanted to inspect my personal stuff, and show tons of i.d. until she finally got thru to the client who said it was alright. They are either to lenient and allow individuals in or miss paper work to track them. Or you end up with some guy that has to act like he is gaurding the president and you are a terrorist. Sure would be nice to have a middle road.

Wow, security always seems to get it wrong. I've gotten the run around for about a second in some of my past showing, but nothing like this flash light cop.Its nice to have security, but a little common since goes a long ways.

@ Jessica, YEP sure does sound like someone on a power trip. I would have raised a huge fuss at the gate and been out of my car yelling if I had to, but other than that I am a really mellow person lol.

Oh how I love a security guard on a power trip! Lake Travis agents are in and out of there all the time just with a business card. My ex lives in The Hills and the guys waive me through with no question because they have seen me drive through with my daughter so often.

That’s a little hard core the guy must have been new. I know at apartment complexes the gates are broken more often than not and I am sure they have never kept anyone out that really wanted to get in. The pizza guy has never asked me for a code but he always shows right up.If they were an actual guard that is probably better, but I would love to see some sort of proof they have ever kept anyone out...that wasn't supposed to be there, of course.

It makes me wonder why gates are ever a great idea.
