Moustaches Uniting Against Cancer: Movember
In what I think is the most awesome way to raise money & awareness ever, Movember.com is hosting an international moustache growing contest.
What many people don’t know is that 1 in 6 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime and that testicular cancer is the most common cancer in men aged 18-35. Facts like these have convinced me I should get involved.
I’ve joined the movement, and decided to start a team. Â All proceeds raised will go to Lance Armstrong’s Livestrong Foundation, and the Prostate Cancer Foundation.
I’ve never had more facial hair than ~5 days growth on vacation. Â That’s my threshold before I just have to shave. Â This month, though, we’ll be stretching that threshold beyond its limits!!! Â In honor of the event, I’ve created a dailymugshot.com account so that we can see my caterpillar grow, and hopefully, take flight as a magnificent butterfly.
