Luxury Austin Homes

Luxury homes in Austin offer more than just high-end appliances and counter tops – they offer a way of life that serves as a peaceful retreat from the pressures of the outside world. As a byproduct of our sparkling lakes and sweeping views, Austin is filled with a number of hotspots for luxury properties, including: [ddet Read More]

  • West Lake Hills – Bordered by Lake Austin on the East and North, and 360 on the South and West, West Lake Hills has long been amongst the top of the list of premier locations in Austin. Beginning as only a small village adjoining Austin’s West boundary line in 1953, the area’s desirability quickly became evident as individuals sought after it’s natural beauty and close proximity to downtown & central Austin. Today, at only 4 square miles in size, West Lake Hills continues to attract Austinites due to its close-knit community feel, prestigious Eanes ISD education, master planned golf resort communities, and one-of-a-kind waterfront properties.
  • Tarrytown – One of Austin’s most prestigious communities, Tarrytown has been home to a number of public figures, including former President Geroge W. Bush, Lance Armstrong, and Matthew McConaughey. With its elegant houses, serene parks, and old churches, this locations charm is duly noted – attracting not only those looking for a peaceful neighborhood, but in addition those seeking top schools, namely Casis Elementary and O Henry Middle School. Tarrytown can be defined as the area within 35th St on the North, Mopac on the East, Enfield (or for many Lake Austin Blvd) on the South, and Lake Austin on the East. While the community is mostly residential, any commercial interests are easily served given it’s close vicinity to Downtown.
  • Downtown – Downtown Austin is not your typical downtown – it’s a unique place that combines government, business, and high-rise living, while still somehow preserving that eclectic “only-in-Austin” attitude. Energetic yet laid-back, cosmopolitan, techie, historic, chic – the descriptions go on and are as diverse as the people that live here. Defined within the boundaries of MLK on the North, I-35 on the East, Lady Bird Lake (formerly Town Lake) on the South, and Lamar on the West, Downtown Austin is more than just nightlife – it’s our epicenter. Music, art, museums, and many weekends filled with events and festivals are just the scratch of the surface. As our city has continued to grow and receive more national attention, so too have major developers taken notice – and hence our downtown boom has begun with recent completion of multiple luxury-oriented condo communities, including The Austonian, Four Seasons, and W Residences, to mention just a few.
  • Lake Austin Waterfront – What type of view does the highest point in Austin, Mount Bonnell, offer? Why that of breathtaking Lake Austin, of course! Not only does waterfront Lake Austin living provide a serene and mesmerizing environment, but additionally residents here enjoy a luxury many of us do not – a trip to your favorite restaurant by boat! Waterfront restaurants on Lake Austin are a popular destination for all Austinites – both during the day and at night. But for those who have the ease of water access in their very own backyard, these destinations can merely be a short cruise down this section of the Colorado River. By car, residents seeking a land-locked destination are no worse off – downtown and central Austin are only minutes away 2222 or 2244, respectively, for its North and South shores. Popular Lake Austin communities include Cliff Over Lake Austin, Rivercrest, Austin Lake Estates, and Rob Roy, to name a few. Lake Austin is also home to the infamous and immaculate Austin Country Club and 360 bridge.
  • Lake Travis Waterfront – Spanning nearly 19,000 acres, Lake Travis is a byproduct of the Mansfield Dam, built 1937-1941. Though only 1 of 7 reservoirs created along the Colorado River, Lake Travis has the distinction of having the largest capacity – which in turn gives it a quite substantial shoreline of around 270 miles for home sites. A popular destination throughout the summer for most Austinites, the area remains lively year-round for residents who enjoy popular destinations such as The Oasis and Steiner Ranch Steakhouse – both overlooking some of the most beautiful sunsets in all of central Texas.
  • Pemberton Heights – Formerly a farm owned by Attorney General John Woods Harris, Pemberton Heights has the expansion of Mopac to thank for it’s development. As one of the oldest neighborhoods in Austin, it’s hard to take more than a few steps here without coming across a little history (see the Keith House or Pemberton Castle). Bordered by Mopac on the West, 29th on the North, Lamar on the East, and Windsor Rd on the South, Pemberton Heights has a lot more to offer than just old houses and traditionally central Texas charm. Developed in the 1920s to 1940s, these stately and upscale homes typically feature large lots and mature trees. Only minutes from downtown and the UT area, residents at Pemberton Heights have easy access to everything central Austin living has to provide.
  • Clarksville – Positioned directly west of Downtown Austin, Clarksville is a unique mixture of the best of two worlds: a quiet and quaint neighborhood full of history, diverse residents, and unique homes, and a location that’s smack dab in the middle of the city with easy utility of everything that can be found downtown. Make no mistake about it, however – Clarksville is far from suburbia.

My wife and I relocated to Austin from the east coast and didn’t know a realtor in town, so looked online. We called a few different people and really seemed to click with Eric. He knows Austin very well, which is what we really cared about, since we knew little about the various Austin neighborhoods.…

Eric is such a fantastic realtor! I had a distressed home to sell and Eric gave me the advice I needed to list it at a price that would sell. His suggested price was right on, and the house sold in a week! Eric was always available and replied quickly to all of our questions.…

My wife and I found Eric online in 2011 when we were considering moving to Austin. Eric was very helpful showing around various neighborhoods during my business trips that made my decision to move to Austin easier. Unlike most agents, Eric also helped us find an apartment for around 6 months so that we could…
