Steiner Ranch is located 15 minutes west of downtown Austin, on the south shore of Lake Travis, and the north side of Lake Austin – a few minutes from the Mansfield dam. Steiner Ranch is a Taylor Woodrow master-planned community. The first section began construction in 1988, and real estate construction really sped up in the late 1990′s.

Resale homes begin around the mid $250′s, and new homes begin in the low $300′s. The bulk of new real estate construction begins at $400k. Steiner Ranch is in the acclaimed Leander ISD, and has 3 schools rated “exemplary” within the neighborhood.
