Deep Eddy, which originated as a natural swimming hole along the Colorado River, is the oldest swimming pool in the state of Texas.  As such, the area has a long and rich history of providing recreational opportunities to residents in and around Austin. 

In fact, the area around Deep Eddy is filled with numerous resort-style amenities and attractions, which includes opportunities to view a variety of different live performances, concerts and movies.

Numerous rental cottages can be found in the area around the Deep Eddy swimming pool.  In addition, the area features a diving area, concession stands and even a ferris wheel.  During the summer months, residents and guests to the area can even take in a family movie at the pool, which features a large pool-side movie screen that is used for Splash Party Movie Nights.  By combining movie nights with the massive Deep Eddy swimming pool, guests are able to enjoy a truly unique movie experience!

The Deep Eddy pool is a popular attraction for people of all ages, as adults enjoy swimming laps in the pool while children enjoy spending time in the wading pool. Since the pool is fed with cold water from a 35 foot well, however, the temperatures do tend to be on the cool side.  Typically, the temperatures in Deep Eddy vary from 68 to 72 degrees Fahrenheit.  With such a great place to cool off and so many wonderful attractions in the area, it is no wonder so many people are interested in real estate in the Deep Eddy area!
